Strawberries and Cream


Go to your kitchen right now and make this treat.

I enjoy this basic dish because it can be made fancy or very simple. I have dressed this up to use as desert before or just an every day simple little treat for myself. If I’m being truly honest, this is always sitting in my refrigerator.  I love it that much!


Gather these simple ingredients.

  • 8oz of Mascarpone Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of trivia
  • about 1 tsp (I really don’t measure this) of vanilla
  • 1 cup heavy cream

THAT’S IT!!! How simple is that.

Put the mascarpone cheese in your blender, this doesn’t have to be room temp. Blend it well and then add in your trivia. Mix these together well; add vanilla, mix. Add your heavy cream. Mix slowly until the heavy cream has incorporated, trust me on this, I have had this go all over the front of me before! Once it has fully incorporated, turn up your mixer on high and let it be. I will occasionally stop and scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl. Let it mix until it becomes thick and creamy.


I transfer it to a storage container to store in my refrigerator, up to a week, but it really doesn’t last that long in my house.

Serve with strawberries and blueberries. Put it in a bowl or dress it up in a nice fluted dish with layers of cream, strawberries, and blueberries.
