Christmas Season – Happy Holidays

Believe it or not Christmas is 18 days away! Yes, 18 days, so hard to believe. Like many of you I started my Christmas shopping quiet awhile ago, yet, it seems as though it never ends. I am always finding something for one of my girls or a close friend. Truly, I love gift giving. In fact, I love it so much that it’s hard for me to keep my Christmas gifts. I tend to give them early!

We have been busy decorating around here. The tree is up, there are lights on the house, and you hear Christmas music going constantly. I love Christmas music. I sing, dance, and cook to Christmas music. Check out some of our Christmas decor and happenings around our house.

The tree is up and the table is decorated with our rustic chicken feeder on our dining room table, and the cat, Patches, helping Faith wrap presents. We have little Christmas tress with lights and all the miscellaneous Santa’s surrounding them. Notice the cute little elves that I picked up this year at an antique store. I love decorating with old things. Those little elves were so inexpensive and fit perfectly on the shelf and add a little something.

Now all we need is a bit of snow and it will look like Christmas. We have been extremely luck this year. It’s been in the 50’s and 60’s, which is unusual this time of year for us. Lately, we’ve been getting down into the freezing mark at night and a bit lower, but the days are still fairly nice. I am hoping for a bit of snow on Christmas or just right before.

Hope you are having fun decorating and getting ready for the holidays.

Happy Holidays from our home to yours!
