Christmas goodies….and then some

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families. I know we did. It’s hard to believe that it is already over. My girls have already started the count down for next year’s Christmas, Oh my! As a child, I remember feeling like it took forever for Christmas day to get here, and then it was gone so fast.

We had a lot of fun this year. We were able to celebrate with close friends and family. Which is what’s most important. My girls had plenty of gifts, honestly, probably too much. I always feel like I have never bought enough, but then while they are opening gifts I realize I probably over did it. But, I am a believer in getting them what they need. So if they need a pair of shoes, jeans, socks, or tops I throw that in with a few wish list products. This year my kids are growing like weeds so they got a lot of clothes, jackets, coats, gloves, of course the infamous beanie! Who could live without their beanie!!! Plus several things that they really wanted.

Grace is really into shooting a bow and arrow. So that was her big Christmas gift. She was so excited. She has everything she now needs to go out and shoot her bow. She is hoping to eventually be able to hunt with it.

Faith was harder for me this year. Being 11, you want toys, but you want other things too. She is caught between the kid stage and teen stage right now and she’s not sure which way to turn. She got a fujifilm mini camera and a garmin watch. Along with numerous outfits!

Since Christmas we have been recovering. Everyone is exhausted and we have been sleeping in and taking a break from life. Yesterday, we all laid around watching movies and snacking all day! It was so nice to just sit and relax with no expectations. Today, it’s back to normal daily life!

Hope everyone had a wonderful, stress free, Christmas full of wonderful goodies! I know we did and my waist line is beginning to show it!

I will be posting our holiday goodies along with their recipes soon! Be watching. Many are low carb and of couse gluten free.

On to New Year’s!
