Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday. Our New Year’s was very uneventful, which is how I prefer it. Staying at home by the fireplace watching movies in our pajamas, I barely stayed awake until mid-night.
As for resolutions, I am not a big one on making them. I have learned in the past that I never stick to them. I am taking the stance of trying to stay positive and work hard this year on my blog, small home improvement projects, and getting back into practicing again, I do have a masters in psychology, guess I could put that to use sometime. Also, I would like to be able to sit down and take a little more time for my self and to continue to be patient with my girls. There are days that seems impossible, but I know it’s not. Deep breaths and meditation will get me through those tough time, along with some help from God, maybe a lot of help from God.
This is the time of year that I like to really deep clean my house and get things organized. We are so busy once spring comes that I don’t have a lot of extra time to do those things. So I spent most of our Christmas break working on getting my house in order and reorganizing bedrooms and bathroom.
Now it’s time to get back into the swing of things, unfortunately. School is slowly starting back up for us. I had the girls start working on some of their home school classes on Tuesday so we don’t feel so overwhelmed next week. Let me just say though, I could still use another week off! I think they could too.
Oh well, it’s now or never! Push on and take it one day at a time. I believe that’s the only way I will finish getting through this week.
Happy New Year and I wish everyone luck with their New Year resolutions!
