Meal Prepping

Do you meal prep?

I want to, I really do, but finding the time always seems impossible for me. In fact, I sit down daily and think about food. What I am going to fix and when. What is our schedule like and will we all be able to eat together or does it need to be a quick easy meal that everyone can just grab and go.

Let me just say that all my thoughts and organization end up being tossed to the way side – out the window. I suck at meal prepping. I love to cook, obviously, this blog is filled with the recipes that we cook all the time, plus new ones that I love to create, but I am just not a planner when it comes to food. I am such a spur of the moment gal in that area. Yes, in that area and that area alone. I am such a planner in everything else I do. Totally organized, most of the time, not always. I like to have stuff planned out because it makes my day go by better. I do the exact same thing every morning and every night which allows me to start my days off right.

So why can’t I meal plan/prep?

I have currently joined an organization that even sends me recipes to fix and tells me what to buy at the grocery store so I don’t even have to think about meals, but I don’t seem to use it at all. Partly because I think my recipes are better and what I am cooking is going to be so much better than what they are sending me.

So in an attempt to become a better meal prepper and planner I am going to start posting meal prepping ideas that I am doing and sharing my ideas with you all. Maybe we can all learn to meal prep together! Might as well try, right!!!

Hope you all have a great Thursday! It’s almost the weekend….
