New Kitchen Gadgets

Grace has successfully completed her Freshman year of high school. She finished on a high note. Lettering in academics and in band. She will also be an incoming drum major for our high school band this next year. Looks like our summer, well maybe hers, just got a bit busier. She will be attending several drum major camps and will still be doing horse shows.

Faith is finishing up her 6th grade year here at home. We typically continue to do some homeschooling subjects throughout the summer. It makes coming into August and taking on a whole new year so much easier. We don’t have to spend as much time reviewing. Faith will also be swimming again this summer. Swim meets are getting ready to start up. Super excited to go watch her again this summer. It is so much fun.

With summer here that means I get to spend a little bit more time in the kitchen and I am super excited to do so! Not only did I get the snack bar pan from Pampered Chef I also purchased a new ice cream maker. Click the link below the picture to purchase yours today……………

Don’t wait…order yours today. It’s summer and what better way to celebrate summer than to make several different types of ice cream.

I’ve only had mine a few days and have already made a few different kinds of ice cream. I have started very simple with a Williams Sonoma Ice Cream Starter. We’ve had strawberry and vanilla now and love them both. This week I will start making my own mixtures. Don’t worry I will definitely be posting all the different ice creams I make. I am waiting on more ice cream freezer storage container to get here! Don’t forget to purchase those along with your ice cream maker….

Have a fun summer and hope to be hearing about all of your adventures along the way!

A clinical psychologist turned stay at home mom. I have 2 beautiful girls (13 and 11) that I home school. We spend our days running back and forth to town, baking, cooking, riding horses and having fun on the farm.
